Saliev Ikbol Fazilovich

Faculty of Medicine of the Andijan State Medical Institute.

In 1999, he completed on-the-job training on the cycle of cataract phacoemulsification in Moscow at the Svyatoslav Fedorov Medical Center.

In 2002, he completed a short-term internship in India at a private ophthalmology clinic.

From 2002 to 2004, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Eye Diseases, where he successfully introduced the method of cataract phacoemulsification with implantation of an artificial lens.

In 2004, he founded the private eye clinic Saif-Optima and is currently its director.

In 2004, he received the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.

He has the title of a doctor of the Highest category.

He is the author of more than 20 scientific publications.

In 2003, for the first time in Uzbekistan, he performed operations on patients with high-grade myopia by implanting soft artificial lenses.

In 2006, he performed the first implantation of a phakic intraocular lens in a patient with high-grade myopia.

In 2009, he developed a method of simultaneous glaucoma and cataract surgery and was the first to perform an operation to treat glaucoma in the early stages.

In 2010, for the first time in Uzbekistan, he introduced the method of corneal crosslinking and performed a successful operation to treat keratoconus.

In 2013, together with Dr. S. Aliyev, he performed the first implantations of multifocal IOLs.

In 2014, he began performing laser vision correction with the excimer laser WAVELIGHT EX500.
